The RN Manager of Perioperative Services will join an established State of the Art Facility that has been providing top quality care in Northern California for the last 70 years. This Level III Trauma Center offers Critical Care, OB/GYN, Surgery Services and Cardiac Rehabilitation. This recognized surgical services department specializes in oncology, robotics, gynecology, urology and podiatry while spearheading development to acquire more specialties, providing the RN Manager of Perioperative Services with ample opportunities for growth.
Reporting to the tenured Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Manager of Perioperative Services will oversee the entire Surgical Services Department including pre and post operative care of patients, ambulatory center, same day surgery and recovery. Working in collaboration with other nursing leaders, the RN Manager of Perioperative Services will develop standards of care and oversee a team of highly talented RN’s.
The Manager will join a fast paced unit, accommodating a wide range of specialties such as general surgery, gastroenterology and anesthesiology. Alongside exceptional MD’s and tenured RN’s the Nurse Manager will champion their colleagues and implement procedures to continuously highlight staff.
The Nurse Manager of Perioperative Services will be responsible for the implementation of policies to maintain quality patient care in all aspects. This individual will also be in charge of managing safety initiatives and strong team building skills to work across sectors and unify staff. The Manager will also lead the departmental budgeting process, including development, monitoring operating expenses, and allocating resources for labor and quality improvement initiatives. A strong, experienced Manager of Perioperative Services with an advanced nurse leadership background will surely earn a quick interview.
